An Extremely Tiny Guide to Harrisonburg, VA
I'm back from Edale Farm! Today's a busy day and I don't feel very motivated to put together a thought-out post, so here is a small guide to Harrisonburg. (And some lambs. You're welcome.)
Ranking of Restaurants I Have Been to in Harrisonburg, VA
1. Local Chop House & Grill. Items to get: Chèvre mac 'n cheese and brownie sundae.
2. The Little Grill Collective. Item to get: The Dooley. Specifically, biscuits with mushroom gravy.
3. Taj of India. Items to get: Lentil soup and vegetable samosas. (My first samosa! I'm hooked.)
4. Bella Luna. Item to get: The Bella (croissant sandwich).
5. Boboko Indonesian Cafe. Item to get: Tofu and potato curry.
Honorable mention: Jimmy Madison's. I ate here about four years ago, so I don't feel qualified to give it a ranking. But! Four years ago, the food was delicious.
Other Places to Visit in Harrisonburg
- Agora Downtown Market.
- Harrisonburg Farmers Market.
- Friendly City Food Co-op.
- Funky's Skate Center. (I haven't actually been here, but this is the rink my hosts owned! It will be closed for renovations for a few more months, but they're hoping to have it up and running by September.)
That's all, folks! Harrisonburg is a really cool city that I definitely want to go back to someday–and I hope, if you go there, you'll keep this extremely tiny guide in mind. :) Happy Monday!
